Paradise Pouch About Us

All our pouches are made here in Hawaii. The land of Aloha. A perfect setting for a
brand new company with the name Paradise Pouch!

Why Hawaii? We moved here because our daughter Aryia (sounds just like Mariah but
without the M), has a genetic disease called Cystic Fibrosis. The climate here is
perfect for her lungs, and gives her boundless energy.

Because we are active in the Cystic Fibrosis Community and are committed to
spreading awareness about this genetic disease. We are excited to announce our
pledge to personally donate $5 for every pouch we sell.

Having four children I have tried practically every baby carrier on the market. With my
last baby, I bought a very popular pouch/sling and really liked it, but I felt like it wasn't
exactly right. I found some fantastic fabric, with beautiful patterns, it was strong,
stretchy and super soft and thought "hmmm I, should make my own pouch". So I fiddled
with the pouch design, added some aspects, took other aspects out, and voila, the
perfect pouch was born, so perfect is was just like paradise for my sweet baby Allura
(and even sometimes Ava). Everywhere, I went people would stop me, and marvle at
my perfectly happy baby in my pouch, and ask me where they could buy one. After
making several pouches for friends, I decided to jump with both feet into my own
WAHM business.
